Massages, Stretching & More

Swedish Massage

Swedish massage focuses on relaxation and muscle tension relief. This technique uses a light to medium pressure which can be adjusted at any point to your comfort level. Swedish massage manipulates soft tissue, muscles, tendons, ligaments, and blood vessels and uses strokes that flow to the heart, improving circulation. This technique can soothe symptoms of stress, depression, and anxiety.

Basalt Hot Stone Massage

Baslat Stones are a volcanic rock that retain heat. The stones are heated between 130 and 145 degrees. The heat from the stones leads to deep relaxation and warms the muscles which allow the therapist to work more effectively.

Passive Stretching

Stretching helps decrease muscle hypertonicity (overly toned and tight muscles) and provide a send of tension and pain relief. Stretching also aid in functional healing, including scar and fibrous tissue formation. Stretching is helpful in resting full joint range of motion and promoting pain-free movement.

Deep Tissue / Trigger Point Therapy

Deep tissue massage is suggested for those who've have had massage before. This technique is more advanced in the sense that deep trigger point work is more intense and requires building up a tolerance. If you haven’t had massage before, it’s best to book a Swedish massage and to experiment with more pressure.

Sports Massage

Sports massage is great for athletes, regular gym goers, and people who work labor-intensive jobs that require repetitive motions. This style of massage combines deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and stretching.

Myofascial Cupping

A 30 minute service or incorporated into massage (not additional time). Cups create negative pressure over a specific part of the body to help lift and separate soft tissue and facilitate its release and mobilization.
